In general I am not a big fan of alien movies, but with that said, this movie was more entertaining than most and I enjoyed it. As it is a "found footage" movie, there is a lot of shadow play and the good old fashioned jump scares. I also did a little reasearch and found the true basis for the movie which was equally entertaining. Good movie and definitely worth the watch

Netflix Description = A pregnant teen tries to flee her backwoods community when she learns shes to be sacrificed to a monstrous beast that lives in a pit near her town.

While I was expecting some cheesy backwoods monster movie, I was pleasantly surprised. This film had a good, strong storyline that was both engaging and entertaining. Some decent gore for the horror effect, but well done. Overall, good movie and worth the watch!

The above description in no way describes this movie. What I watched was a good old fashioned haunted house tale. That said, no gore but lots of jumps and shadowplay. Good movie but don't expect teen passion. lol
