"My Bloody Valentine" ~ 1981

"My Bloody Valentine"  ~  1981

Netflix description  =  When a group of teens defy an order not to celebrate Valentines day, a murderous maniac begins dispatching townsfolk in bloody and creative ways.

Whats not to love about classic 80s horror.  This movie had some of the oldest "teens" ever, but was a fun watch.  There is a little gore, of course no real death scenes, just the aftermath and even a couple twists.  Overall one of my personal favorites and if you like the genre its definitely worth the watch!

"Rare Exports: A Christmas tale"

"Rare Exports: A Christmas tale"  ~  2010

Netflix description  =  In the frozen beauty of Finland, local reindeer herders race against the clock to capture an ancient evil: Santa Claus.  A single dad and his son are caught up in the chaos as scientists dig for artifacts.  What they find endangers the entire village.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Admittedly this was already on my list of favorite holiday horror movies.  I enjoyed this since the first time I saw it.  As a friend said "If you like movies from Finland, lots of naked Santas and Christmas cookies ~ you won't be disappointed."  and lets face it, who doesn't! haha  Anyhow, a good storyline, lots of action and again, just a fun movie!  Definitely worth the watch.
"St Nick"
"St Nick"  ~  2010
Netflix Description  =  In this yuletide gore fest, jolly St Nick gets a dark makeover as a sinister medievil cleric who returns to Amsterdams snowy streets to avenge his death by killing innocent children.  Can a high school student and a disgraced cop stop the rampage??
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This is definitely not your typical Christmas movie, but I really enjoyed it.  The dark, vengeful St Nick was a fun storyline and some creative kill scenes.  Above all it was just a fun entertaining watch, and will now be on my "Holiday favorites" list.

My score  3/5
