"11/11/11" ~ 2011
Netflix description = In this chilling horror movie, Melissa and Jack - - once an ordinary couple - - watch in shock as their son slowly morphs into a hellish harbinger of the apocalypse, set to engulf the earth on the devils boys own birthday 11-11-11.

This was way, way different than the other 11-11-11 movie that I watched recently. In fact other than the title is was almost completely different. With this one centered around the young boy turning 11 on 11-11-11. I really enjoyed the telling of the story, and the character development. Very little gore, still a fun watch!!
My score 3/5

"11/11/11: The Prophecy"
"11/11/11: The Prophecy" ~ 2011
Netflix description = After the death of his wife and child, and author travels to Barcelona to see his estranged brother and dying father. Once there, re realizes that the events plaguing his life are all related to the upcoming date of 11/11/11.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This was a good thriller movie, though I'm not sure it would rank in horror, but none the less still a really good movie. The storyline was well told and enough different than all the other "Eleven" movies and a few twists to make it even more entertaining. One of the best 11 movies I've seen.
My score 3/5
"Children of the Corn:Genesis"
"Children of the Corn: Genesis" ~ 2011
Netflix description = When their car breaks down in the middle of the desert, an expectant couple reluctantly take shelter inside a ramshackle compound, where an unhinged "Preacher" and his mail order bride are involved in a curious side project.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This was much, much different than what I remember of the other "Children of the Corn" movies. I enjoyed the new twist, making it seem like a different story. There were some good jumps, and as always creepy kids are just that.... creepy!!
My score 3/5

"Devils Prey"
"Devils Prey" ~ 2001
Netflix description = After getting ejected from a rave in the woods, a group of friends hit a girl in the road, setting off a chain of nightmarish events. The girl is still alive but she's got a band of bloodthirsty cult members chasing after her.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I enjoyed this movie. There are some over the top scenes, but all in all a fun, campy movie. There are a lot of twists and turns to keep your attention, and maybe even a jump or two. I did feel like I knew "what was coming next" a few times, but again, its a fun movie and worth the watch!
