"The Seasoning House" ~ 2012
Netflix description = Angel, a deaf and mute orphan, is enslaved to care for the girls of the seasoning house, who a forcefully prostituted to the military.

This was a very intense story. The character development is strong, making you invested in Angel. There is lots of blood, gore and mostly brutal violence. Although almost more horrific than horror its definitely worth the watch.
